Honduras Mission Trip
In January 2026 a team of 13 people from Rangeley Baptist Church will be traveling to Comayagua, Honduras to minister alongside Honduran missionaries Paul and Tania Steer. The trip will last for 10 days, from January 10-19th and is in conjunction with Missions Door.
While we are in Honduras the team will be sharing the love of Jesus as we work on construction projects, lead a VBS for children, and support various other ministries that proclaim the Good News of the Gospel.

New Hope Shelter
Solon, ME
The New Hope Shelter is a safe residential program-based shelter in rural Maine for women and children. Their mission is to serve the homeless and reach out to women where they are, and in practical ways extend God's love and hope through a personal relationship with Christ.
The Steer Family
Missions Door, Honduras
Paul and Tania Steer serve as church planters in the city of Comayagua in central Honduras, and diligently to take the gospel to the South East Central region of the country. They desire to reach all people with the Good News of the gospel, to teach the Word of God, and to positively impact families and villages for future generations.
Child Evangelism Fellowship
Child Evangelism Fellowship tells boys and girls about the Gospel of Jesus and disciples them in the word and in a local church for Christian living. CEF has many different ministries, but the primary ones are the 5 Day Club and Good News Club. These ministries take place in homes, backyards, schools & community centers all over the world. These fast-paced, one-hour programs are designed to bring the Gospel of Christ to children on their level in their environment. CEF also has fair, camping, open-air, and internet ministries for children.
Roger & Donna Labbe
Camp Good News of Maine
Roger Labbe is the Outreach Ministry Coordinator for Child Evangelism Fellowship of Maine. Roger and his wife, Donna, have been involved with CEF in many capacities and for many years. After a couple of decades of volunteering with Camp Good News, both Roger and Donna took on full-time CEF staff positions in June 2003, Roger as Camp Program Director, and later Director, and Donna as CEF Secretary as well as taking charge of the Camp kitchen. Donna has recently retired from full-time ministry, while Roger has changed roles, no longer working hands-on with the summer camp ministry but working as the Outreach Ministry Coordinator for CEF of Maine.
Thomas Watson
InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
InterVarsity is a community from all parts of campus who ask the big questions together, read the Bible and talk about what it really means, and try to love their friends and other students as much as Jesus does. Thomas Watson joined for InterVarsity's staff in July, 2021 and works with students at UMaine at Farmington and at Colby College in Waterville.
